About Kristin Hardy

For more than 20 years, Kristin has helped organizations strengthen their preparedness and resilience through training, education, consulting, and community outreach. She holds degrees in Emergency Management and Criminal Justice and is OSHA 10 certified in workplace safety.

Kristin has served as an Emergency Preparedness Presenter for the American Red Cross and as a CPR/AED Instructor with Clark County Fire District #5. Throughout her career, she has trained thousands of employees, staff members, faculty, and volunteers in workplace safety and emergency preparedness topics, including CPR, bloodborne pathogens, emergency response, and disaster preparedness.

Her professional experience includes preparedness education, workplace safety training, emergency planning, and public speaking. She is an active member of the Washington State Emergency Management Association, and the Greater Vancouver and Ridgefield Chambers of Commerce.

Kristin's contributions to the preparedness profession have been recognized with consecutive statewide honors from the Oregon Emergency Management Association. In 2023, she received the Private-Sector Emergency Management Professional of the Year Award. In 2024, she was honored with the Association's President's Award for her continued commitment to advancing emergency preparedness and resilience.

A frequent speaker on preparedness topics, Kristin is passionate about helping organizations reduce risk, improve safety, and build confidence in their ability to respond effectively when emergencies occur. 

Through education, training, and practical planning, Kristin helps organizations create safer workplaces and strengthen 

their ability to respond to emergencies and disasters.
